Black and Purple

Hey loves!

Long time no blog, huh?  I thought with Chris being deployed I'd stay busy with my nails and blogging but I've instead been staying busy with friends and I hardly find the time to just simply paint my nails!  But I have a few manis lined up so there will be a few blog posts up in the next few days :)

Here's something simple that I wore after I finally got my hands on some Zoya polishes.  And the very last liquid sand polish from the Mariah Carey collection that I found at Winner's :)

On my index and middle is Zoya Storm, and OPI Can't Let Go is on my ring and pinkie.  I didn't know how I felt about the textured polishes but I really loved this one!  I'll have to go around and pick up a couple more of them :)

Happy Wednesday!  Thanks for reading :)

Valentine's Day Mani

Sorry this is a few days late!  This is the mani I wore for Valentine's day.  I hope everyone had a good one :)  I chose to celebrate by going out dancing until 4am - my feet are still killing me today!

My index and pinkie have Orly Purple Crush, which is a gorgeous pink jelly polish (and definitely not purple...), whereas my middle and ring fingers have Orly Decades of Dusfunction, probably my favourite nude polish to date!

All stamped images come from Bundle Monster plates, the glitter on my middle finger is OPI Gettin' Miss Piggy With It and the hearts on my pink were done using Zoya Blaze, Aurora and Storm (which are my first Zoya's except for a super old bottle that I've had for years - Zoya polish is pretty impossible to find out here).

I loved wearing this mani, it was so cute and girly :)

Blue Valentine

Hi loves!

I saw a very similar mani to the one I'm about to show you on pinterest last week while looking for inspiration and decided to recreate it using slightly different colours.

(side note:  I can no longer find the original post, if someone knows who the original owner of a similar manicure is please let me know!)

I started out with a base of China Glaze Blue Iguana.  Using a dotting tool and three different holographic polishes I dotted the 'dot gradient' on my pinkie and index, and attempted to form a heart on my middle and ring finger with various sized dots as well.

The hearts look more blob-ish than I wanted though.  lol.

Have a good Tuesday everyone :)

My first A-Englands

Hi loves!

Not too long ago aEngland was having a sale on some polishes and I jumped at the opportunity to get my hands on some of the beautiful shades I'd been lusting over.  I bought a trio that had Tristam, Excalibur and St. George.  You can almost guarantee that as soon as these landed in my mail box I stripped my nails and threw on the two that appealed to me the most:

Tristam on all fingers except for St. George as the accent.  I couldn't really capture the holo-ness of these since both days were completely clouded over.  Bummer :(

These two shades are SO gorgeous though.  Under certain light they absolutely sparkle -- I can't wait to get my hands on other a England polishes!

Chevron Mani

Hi loves!

Quick post today to show you my NOTD:

I started with 2 coats of Essie Chinchilly, which was one of my first Essie polishes before I started seriously collecting.  It's such a great polish!  Using tape I then painted on Color Club Almost Famous and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Blue Me Away! on my ring finger.  To finish off this look I added Nicole by OPI Follow me on Glitter to the tips.

I love the muted grey with a little colourful pop thrown in there :)

Hope you're all having a fabulous Wednesday!  Thanks for reading!
